Miller's Cornfield

September 17th - 07:00: An hour after the early morning actions of General Hooker and his Corps near the Miller farmstead, the damaged cornfield is subjected to a new infusion of blood, this time from the men of Hood's division. A withering fire from several sides mean that terrible casualties are wrought.
